We’re on a mission to enable balance between urgency of climate action and prudence in climate finance, by originating high-integrity, high-impact climate assets.
Since our inception, we have worked towards restoring nature’s equilibrium by facilitating large-scale financing into building and scaling nature-based carbon sinks in the Global South. Our approach involves identifying capital where it sits in the world and incentivising its shift towards high-quality carbon removal projects in India - where the impacts of climate change will be most severe. At Equilibrium, we prioritise permanent carbon removal by originating high-quality nature based projects. With an aim to make carbon projects bankable, the projects are designed with an emphasis on technology, robust research and expert implementation partnerships.
Beyond enabling finance to flow confidently towards meaningful climate action, it is our job to ensure that stakeholders across the carbon value chain are empowered with the right tools to recognise where a carbon removal solution can be built, financed and preserved for the long-term. Prioritising permanent carbon removal above all else, and creating impact that ripples through ecosystems, economies and societies. With over 100K farmers in pipeline, and 375 acres designated for these projects, we are building a pipeline of 787K carbon-credits annually.
