As we evolved, we saw an opportunity to scale our work beyond consumer-facing offsets into high-integrity carbon finance, shaping the future of an industry that is still taking form.
Equilibrium is the next step in that journey — a platform built to bring trust, transparency, and scientific rigor to carbon markets. We believe in working with visionary investors, innovative climate projects, and data-driven solutions to ensure carbon finance is as impactful as it is scalable. 02 - SBTi has launched the draft Corporate Net-Zero Standard V2 for consultation, aiming to accelerate corporate decarbonisation. It addresses scope 3 challenges, prioritises emissions reduction while supporting climate finance and removals, facilitates target-setting for emerging economies, and introduces a new model to validate progress. With over 12 years of global experience across investment banking, fundraising, strategy consulting, and impact investing, Sricharann or “Sri” (as we like to call him) brings a unique perspective to our mission of accelerating climate action in the Global South. Sri has been instrumental in shaping Equilibrium’s strategy, operations, and execution from the get go. Now as co-founder, he will continue to drive our mission forward, expanding our footprint in high-integrity carbon markets.
Neelesh brings over 15 years of experience in climate change, carbon markets, and sustainable agriculture, with a strong track record in business development, project origination, and global carbon trading. We’re thrilled to welcome him aboard and eager to see how he strengthens Equilibrium’s project pipeline and expands our global market presence.
At PRAKRITI 2025, organised by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Govt. of India in collaboration with the World Bank and IETA, our founder Siddhanth Jayaram joined a panel on Climate Tech Startups for Sustainable Development. The discussion highlighted how climate tech startups are driving scalable sustainability solutions and the role of carbon markets, policy frameworks, and entrepreneurship in accelerating climate innovation.
